About Fashion Confession Gal
Hi, I’m Natalie, a fashion designer, creative entrepreneur, and unapologetic lover of beautiful things—with a sharp eye for business and a serious handbag obsession.
I wasn’t always sketching in silk pajamas by a sunlit window in Southern California (though that is my current vibe). My fashion journey began in the chilly corners of the University of Maine business school, where I learned all about profit margins and pivot tables before chasing my dreams to New York City. Picture this: retail sales on 5th Avenue at the Fossil accessories store by day, student at Parsons School of Design by night. Coffee? I was practically made of it.
After NYC, I headed west—because where better to fall in love with fashion than under palm trees and golden light? I earned my fashion design degree from FIDM in Los Angeles (graduating with honors, thank you very much), and from there, the industry doors started swinging open.
I’ve worked with brands you probably know and love:
• At BCBG, I dived into product development for their handbag line (yes, it was as chic as it sounds).
• At Lucky Brand, I oversaw men’s denim—because rugged jeans and polished handbags can live in perfect harmony.
• At Talbots, created handbags with their product development team.
But my greatest passion? Creating fashion that’s not just stylish—but powerful. After years of experience, I launched my own fashion brand, driven by the belief that what we wear should elevate how we feel and who we are.
Today, I not only design with love and intention, but I also help other emerging designers bring their visions to life— because there’s room for all of us at the table (as long as it’s lacquered, minimalist, and has mood boards on it).
